「華夏盃」為國際數學組委會主辦的一個具規模性的大型國際數學比賽，包括中國各省市，香港、澳門、台灣參賽，我校學生於2018年1月6日參加「華夏盃」全國數學奧林 匹克邀請賽 2018初賽，並全部獲獎，其後將於 2018 年 2 月 25 日參與「華夏盃」全國數學奧林匹克邀請賽 2018（華南賽區）晉級賽；

學生們在華南理工大學進行了深度體驗學習。環境與能源學院“能量儲存與轉換團隊”開放科研實驗室，專門為學生設計了“電池材料模型製作實驗”，並安排研究生指導學生們動手操作；電腦科學與工程學院教授通過講解，指導學生設計出自己的App手機產品。

Students conducted a deep learning experience in South China University of Technology. School and Environment and Energy "Energy Conversion and Storage Team" opened research laboratories. "Battery Material Model Experiments" were specifically designed for students and research students were arranged to guide students with hands-on operation; Computer Science and engineering professor explained and guided students to design their own mobile phone App products.

我校共14名學生參加第69屆香港學校朗誦節 (英文朗誦)，其中兩名學生獲得冠軍；9名學生獲發優良獎狀；3名學生獲發良好獎狀。

Fourteen students participated in the Speech Festival. Two students achieved the Champion. Also, nine students got the Certificate of Merit and three students got the Certificate of Proficiency.
