本次藝術節上，通過一批教師及學生的獨具的藝術創作，實現文化交流，為學生搭建一個放眼世界的視窗。

2018 亞洲國際數學奧林匹克公開賽(AIMO Open)香港賽區初賽 暨 港澳數學奧林匹克公開賽《港澳盃 HKMO Open》的參賽者接近 30000 人。比賽於高中年級未有分級比賽，我校中四學生江嘉成同學需要參與高中組比賽，與其他中五中六年級學生競爭獎項。而江嘉成同學於比賽中獲得高中組銅獎，他同時有資格參加5月5日舉行的香港賽區晉級賽，爭取 2018 年泰國總決賽的入場券，與來自世界各地的數學精英一較高下。

我校四位同學於華南地區晉級賽獲獎後，於今年四月去深圳中英公學參加了「華夏盃®」全國數學奧林匹克邀請賽 2018 全國總決賽，當中有來自中國不同省市的精英來參加比賽，而最後我們亦有三位同學能夠在決賽獲獎。而於晉級賽獲獎之同學亦會在八月代表香港去台灣進行比賽。

The Faculty of Mathematics of the University of Waterloo aims at developing many internationally recognized competitions to help to inspire the next generation of students from all over the world to develop an interest in and love for mathematics. Joy accepted the challenge and successfully win the award after trainings.

為啟發年青一代發展對數學的興趣及喜愛，加拿大滑鐵盧大學數學系舉辦大量國際認可比賽供世界不同國家同學參與。文雅絲同學接受挑戰，經訓練後成功奪得奬項。
