Subject Introduction and Features

The Chemistry Department is dedicated to leading students into the microscopic world to explore the composition, structure, and transformation of matter. We emphasize "Hands-on Learning" through a variety of laboratory activities and inquiry-based teaching, fostering students' curiosity and rigorous scientific attitudes. In addition to the core curriculum, we actively integrate STEAM elements, transforming chemistry from cold equations into a key for solving real-world problems.

Course Objectives

  • To develop students' enduring interest and intellectual curiosity in chemical phenomena
  • To master fundamental chemical concepts and principles, laying a solid foundation for further studies and career development.
  • To develop scientific inquiry skills and the ability to make evidence-based judgments.
  • To enhance students' awareness of the relationship between chemistry and society, environment, and technology, fostering responsible citizenship.
