Subject Introduction and Features

Geography is an integrated subject that examines the relationship between the natural environment and human activities. The subject connects learning with daily life and current issues. Through map reading, data interpretation and field observation, students develop spatial concepts, analytical skills and global citizenship, enabling them to understand how the world operates and how humans interact with the Earth.

 

Course Objectives

Geography curriculum aims to enhance students’ understanding of local, national and global environments. It helps students analyse environmental issues from different perspectives and understand human–environment interactions. The subject fosters values of sustainability, respect for nature and responsible citizenship, while developing independent thinking and problem-solving skills for lifelong learning.
