Event Highlights

🥁 S1 Music Lesson: Learning Chinese Drums
The Chinese drum is one of the oldest musical instruments in Chinese culture, known for its strong rhythm and expressive power. In S1 Music lessons, students leart about traditional Chinese drumming, including basic rhythmic patterns, fundamental striking techniques, and ensemble coordination.

"Wings of Music" string instrument training program and course funded by the "Hong Kong Wings of Music Charity Foundation" provides free opportunities for our school students to learn classical music and art, and donates musical instruments to our school for students to use for learning.
The programme covers violin and cello; Professional instructors teach students in small groups. Students can develop their musical interests and artistic appreciation. Ensemble training also helps them build teamwork and confidence. Outstanding students will have the opportunity to perform in school concerts and participate in external competitions.

We actively create diverse opportunities for students to perform music, embodying the philosophy of "learning through practice." We believe that students can build confidence, showcase their talents, and share their passion for music with others.
Student Achievement

Our students actively participate in various inter-school and open music competitions and achieve excellent results every year. Through these competitions, students not only refine their performance skills but also gain valuable stage experience and build self-confidence. In the past 3 years, our students have excelled in the following competitions:
- Hong Kong Schools Music Festival: Several students obtained Bronze and Silver awards in piano and violin solo categories.
- Joint-School Music Competition
- Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Positive Energy Music Competition: Won championships in vocal solo and instrumental categories.
- ASAA Music Competition
